T.G.I.F.? Not So Much...

OMG...welcome to the my world!
Seriously, today was the day from HELL!
My first clue that I should just turn around and crawl back under the covers was an argument via text at 8 a.m.
So, my phone beeps. Of course I wonder "Who could it be?" Of course, I have my hopes...
Anyway, I pick up the phone and it's a guy I met a while back. We haven't talked in a few weeks, since we made plans on a TUESDAY for Saturday night (that's right, girls...I'm following the rules...lol!) and I never heard from him until now. So random...a text at 8 a.m. WTF?
I look at the screen on my Palm... "Hello"
Is he freakin kidding me? No, really is he? So I text back "Are you kidding?"
His brilliant response is "About what?"
(Insert big sigh and rolled eyes here...doubled, because by this time I have picked up my BFF)
I should also mention that I am in line waiting for my coffee, so I am pretty cranky.
I am so over this guy, so I just text back "Go away"
Ok, not the nicest or most mature thing to say, but hey, it's pre-caffiene time!
So, about 15 minutes go by, and my phone beeps...an apology, perhaps? Yeah, not so much. I look at the phone and...
"Fuck you"
Nice way to start off the day, huh?
Then the phone company shut off our office phones. (A mistake on their part, no less.) No big deal, right? We only have home health aides and patients calling us ALL the time! So...big fight with the phone company. (BTW, I HATE Embarq)
Then, the power cord on my laptop dies. And I call Dell to have it replaced, and I am connected to INDIA. Yes, India. So, they can't overnight it, because...they are in India! (So over companies outsourcing their customer service jobs!)
Did I mention that I had a dental emergency also? Oh, yes. Good times.
And, on and on it goes.
Oh...gotta go. My smoke alarm is going off, causing a chain reaction of barking dogs in my 3 ring circus of a house. And in case you are wondering...nope, I'm not cooking, and nothing is burning in my house. So, why the fuck is the smoke alarm going off? Good question.
Next time my day starts out like that, I'll be taking myself right back to bed!!!!!!!!!
