Just Another Manic Monday...

Good morning, everyone! I am FINALLY feeling better today. I have had a sinus infection for about 2 1/2 weeks (And I've been on antibiotics for 2 weeks.) I am so sick of being sick!

According to almost every entertainment news outlet, Madonna is getting ready to kick Guy Richie to the curb. They do not have a pre-nup so it could cost Madge quiye a pretty penny to say "Buh-bye" to Guy. Her estimated net worth is around $850 million, and that's BEFORE her new new tour, which I'm sure will rake in the big bucks!
Ohhh...I found my first crush on Facebook! He's single, tall, nice looking, and...wait for it...he just graduated from Seminary (in case you don't know, here's the definition from wikipedia: "A seminary or theological college is a specialized and often live-in higher education institution for the purpose of instructing students (seminarians) in philosophy, theology, spirituality and the religious life, usually in order to prepare them to become members of the clergy.") Lissy had lots of fun with that..."Oh, look...another one ruined by Niki!" So typical! Anyway, it was kind of cool to email back & forth with him. Too bad he didn't find me BEFORE he found G*d, huh?!? I kid, I kid. It was fun to stroll down

(Yes, Young Ladies-I just name checked you!) I have just totally aged myself, huh? Oh, well! I've actually reconnected with several peeps from Singapore, and a few from high school in Boca. Speaking of Facebook, X never responded to my email. Did I call that one or what? Oh, X...I know you like the back of my hand...you are totally predictable, Darling.So, I was talking to my Mom and I said "I have hot pink highlights now!"And she said "Oh, no!"And I said..."No, Mom...on purpose!" A Lesson In Hip Hop Terminology...

I have an album on my myspace page called "My New Whip" (See above) and someone asked me today what a whip was. So...I speak Ebonics as a second language, but for those of who do not speak fluent Ebonics, let me enlighten you with a few definitions. Follow along:

"Whip" When the steering wheel was first put into use in automobiles, it was called the "whip". The whip is what you used to control the horses on a stagecoach, hence the analogy. Many years later, various hip hop artists noticed that the Mercedes-Benz logo resembled a steering wheel. They then proceeded to use the old term "whip" to describe any Mercedes-Benz vehicle. The term has now been generalized to classify any expensive automobile.

As in "Check out my new whip!"

"Make it rain" 1. In strip clubs, it is when you throw stacks of money all over women (this is the "edited" definition)

2. When a man ejaculates all over a woman (this is the "explicit" definition)

Lovely! As in "I make it rain on these hoes"...I guess either definition could apply, huh?!?

"Make it snow" It is similar to "making it rain", except that instead of throwing dollar bills, one is so rich that they are able to throw diamonds. In effect, making it snow. Diamonds can be substituted for a large quantity of cocaine.
