Happy Turkey Day...

Hello, all! Sorry I haven't blogged in a bit, but I've been crazy busy. I haven't even talked about Chris and Patty's wedding. It was ok...if perfection is your thing. Kidding...it was A-MA-ZING. The ceremony was outside, and the weather was unbelievably gorgeous...not a cloud in the sky. The aisle was "carpeted" with rose petals, and right behind the alter was the beach. And Patty was the most beautiful bride ever. She looked like she stepped off the pages of BRIDE magazine. Seriously. It was very fairy tale-esque...I loved it.

Oh, I almost forgot. I had the puppy here overnight during the week. Remember, the female shih tzu? Yeah, I know. Can you say "Disaster"? Tao was terrified of her, and Tai Tai just hated her. It was terrible. But on the plus side, I got that out of my system!

Guess what I did yesterday?!? I fished! I caught 4 fish (that is right...4) and the bottom. (My hook got caught on the bottom of the ocean...that sucked) Lissy and I went on the boat with Jake so he could fish. He had 2 poles in the water and he was like "Hey, Nik...do you want to reel that in for me?" And I was all "I guess so" (insert crinkled nose and flared nostrils here to demonstrate my obvious disgust) but I caught a fish, and it was actually fun. I wouldn't bait my hook or take the fish off the hook...such a girl, right. So poor Jake could barely fish himself because he had to keep doing all that stuff for me. He caught several fish too, including something ginormous that snapped the line. We caught snappers, groupers, grunt fish and a jewfish (ff for you here, folks...In 2001 the American Fisheries Society renamed the jewfish (Epinephelus itajara) the goliath grouper out of concern for the potential offensiveness of the name). We didn't keep any of them, which was just fine with me...it's not like I'd be able to do anything with them anyway. So, yeah...I've got MAD fishing skills!! I can't wait for all the fishing next weekend!

Poor little Joshie hurt his arm yesterday...he was at the playground with the babysitter and apparently, some little bully was tugging on his arm and pulled it out of the socket. That little bully was very lucky that Joshie's parents weren't there because they would have opened up a can of whoop ass on him...LOL. So, he is in a soft cast and a sling, and he has to go to a pediatric orthopedist today :(

Today is my Mommy's birthday. Happy birthday, I love you! See ya in a few days. My Mom and Grandma are coming to visit me for Thanksgiving. We are going to La Playa for our Thanksgiving dinner...that's how we roll. HaHa. Ok, that's about all I've got for now.
