Oh, boy! I have a classic Noah story to tell (as told to me by Lissy). So, Lissy and Jacob took the kids to Coconut Point over the weekend (it's a big City Place-ish type of thing). Noah is in the phase where he basically blurts out anything that comes to mind...LOUDLY. Did I mention that he's in a pirate obsession phase? Picture this. Naples. 2007. LOL. Noah is too tall for the double stroller, but his parents make him sit in it nonetheless, because he has a tendency to RUN too far ahead, which is WAY scary. So, do you have the visual? Noah in the front of the stroller, feet dragging on the ground, Joshie the Peanut Gallery in the back of the stroller, being pushed by Jacob. Anyway...an older man was walking towards them WEARING AN EYE PATCH. Lissy and Jacob probably starting cringing, because they totally knew what was coming. Noah, who doesn't miss a thing, spots him and exciting yells out "Ahoy...You're a pirate!" And Joshie, who's in a "mimic everything Noah does" phase, starts with the "You pirate" business too. Keep in mind that the man and his wife were walking toward them (in SLOW MOTION at this point, and still had to pass them...AWKWARD!) Of course, the man didn't even crack a smile. Now, just a little sidebar here. If you are going to go out wearing an eye patch...don't be a dick when the cutest little boy ever innocently says hello to you. OMG! So...Jacob was furious and starts lecturing Noah on how he cannot talk to strangers and you do not know if they are the appropriate age for you to be yelling "Hey, Dude!" to. Lissy was like "YooHoo. He's four. Way over his head, Baby." So they settled on don't talk to strangers. At all. Ever. So sorry I missed that one! Joshie just started calling me "Mickey Mouse"...seriously, it's so so so adorable! I am their Godmother, so Lissy is teaching them that I am their "Fairy Godmother"...too cute. OMG. I almost got a 2 month old shih tzu puppy...a girl...yesterday. She looked just like Tao and she was teeny tiny. I was all over it. Then I starting thinking about all the damage that Tao did in his puppy hood and all the new furniture that I just bought. I had a total panic attack and I was like "OMG, am I f***ing crazy? I can't do this!" So, I said NO. Besides, I would be like a cat lady...except with dogs. Kinda creepy. So...the wedding is on Saturday. I'm looking forward to that. Then I am having a Ladies Night at my house next week. Busy, busy, busy, and that's the way I like it :) Ok...that's all I've got for now.
