Sicki Niki :(

Hello, all! I am still alive...so sorry to have abandoned you all. I've been BEYOND sick with a sinus infection and the flu. (Kim-I'm totally biting off of you with the whole "beyond" thing, but it's so cute!) Icky! I spent the whole weekend in bed. And, not in a good way...LOL! The good news is that I am on the mend. Anyways...lots to talk about folks! Let's start with a little thing I like to call "internet etiquette". My stepmonster (father's former mistress, current wife) sent me some stupid forwarded emails. Which, BTW (by the way), I f***ing hate. So I responded with an email asking how she was, how was the wedding, yada, yada, yada. And...nothing. No response, Nada, Zilch, Zippo. And then, today...more stupid forwards. Ok. You're not going to write back to me, but you'll keep sending me utterly useless crap?!? Um, thanks. Do I write to her and ask her politely to take me off of her forward list? Not exactly sure how to handle it. And I'm still holding out a little bit of hope for wedding pictures. It would almost be worth it to talk to my dead beat Dad. ALMOST. But not quite!

Next. Let's talk about X, baby. (Not SEX, X-as in my ex-boyfriend ). So, X changed his status on myspace from "in a relationship" to "single". Inner-resting! And, tonight...X emailed me. His email said "Hello". That's it. OMG, X! Are you f***ing kidding me?!? WTF does that even mean? Ugh. And, when, when, when will my heart stop skipping a beat when I see an email from him/see his picture/hear his name?!? Could someone tell my arrhythmic heart that I am over him? Please?

OMG. I had to co-ordinate a move for a patient. A crazy patient. The psycho one that told me that I could get myself raped the way I was dressed. In my dress slacks and tunic. So slutty, right? Anyhoo...I had to go see her again and I was freaking out getting dressed. I wore a button down shirt with a crew neck sweater over it. Ha. Tell me I look like a slut now, bi-yatch! She didn't say anything about my attire, but she did have a total meltdown about how she can't stand all the n***ers & spics. "Where are all the g*ddamn Italians?!?!" I'm 1/2 Italian, but there was no way I was sharing that with this crazy b***h! And BTW, my boyfriend is a ni**er and my assistant is a spic. So, um, shut the f**k up. Kthanxbye! (I don't actually currently have a boyfriend, but if I did...that's most likely what he'd be...LOL) So, anyway, I ignored her outburst and I made all these arrangements for her to move. And...she missed her f***ing plane! Seriously!

There's a new study out that proves that women are better liars than men. Not that we lie MORE, just that we are better at it. Uh, yeah, you think?!? That's because we think EVERYTHING through more thoroughly. Duh. I didn't need a study to tell me that! I have a cute Noah quote. I said to him "Noah, are you going to be tall like me?" He paused, thought about it long and hard and replied "I sure hope so!" Too cute! Joshie has a new obsession. Scoobey Doo or as he says "Scoobey Doodey" which prompts Noah to shout "Mommy! Daddy! Joshie said Doodey!" Good times.

File this under sad: After some speculation amongst the gossip blogs, it has been confirmed that Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer (per people.com) "Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far," Dr. George Fisher says in a statement. "All of the reports stating the time frame of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic."
