2008 Not Looking So Good For Shitney!

Sorry I've been slacking a bit on the blogging! Let me get you up to date on all the celeb goings on. I'm sure you have all been watching Shitney unravel. Oy vey! In case you haven't, we left off with her on her way to the ER, strapped onto a gurney. Yeah, really. They had to restrain her crazy ass. It's getting to the point where I won't be at all surprised to wake up one morning to news of her death. Ok, back to the recap.

So, she was taken to the hospital for a "72 hour hold" to "evaluate" her. Hello!?! Homegirl is CRAZY. You do not need 72 hours to figure that out! While she was in the cuckoo bin, a judge revoked her visitation rights. (Apparently, she locked herself in a bathroom with little Jayden James...taking him hostage. Oh, Shitney. Really?!?) Then Dr. Phil got involved somehow. He keeps issuing statements and talking crap. Why is he involved? He's not even a real doctor. Um, Publicity Whore...party of one...your table is ready! Anyhoo...talk of post partum depression and bi-polar disorder are now swirling around. Ok, now, seriously. WTF are her friends, family, doctors, lawyers, etc. doing? Someone, put this b***h on some zoloft and let's all move on. So, apparently, she was being a total nightmare at the hospital and they let her out (AMA, supposedly) after one day. For G*d's Sake!

From people.com:

Back home, Britney Spears spent the early part of Saturday with dad Jamie after being released from Cedars-Sinai hospital, PEOPLE has confirmed. Spears's mom Lynne, who yesterday called for prayers for the embattled singer, remains in their hometown of Kentwood, La. Spears left the Los Angeles medical facility Saturday via an underground tunnel and was accompanied by TV therapist Dr. Phil, according to etonline.com, who first reported the news. A Cedars-Sinai spokesperson declined to comment, but Dr. Phil released a statement to ET saying: "My meeting with Britney and some family members this morning in her room at Cedars leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention. "She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car." Spears had been committed early Friday morning under California's "5150 Hold," in which Spears was deemed a danger to herself and could be held for 72 hours. Patients however can be released early if doctors determine they are no longer a threat to themselves. "The 5150 legality is very loose," says Dr. Nathan Kuemmerle, a West Hollywood psychiatrist. "The 72 hours are not firm. All it requires is an ER psychiatrist to release the patient. ... If Britney isn't suicidal or homicidal, she doesn't need to be hospitalized."

From et online:

Sources tell ET that BRITNEY SPEARS spoke with a British accent during her stay at Cedars-Sinai hospital last Friday. While DR. PHIL wouldn't comment on that during our exclusive interview with him, he did say that the troubled pop star needs to be in treatment.

Then, she tested negative for drugs. Um, did they test for prescription drugs? Can you say "Anna Nicole Smith"?

And then she was seen out with that slimy paparazzi dude...ick!

From people.com:

Britney Spears has done the impossible since her discharge early Saturday morning from Cedars-Sinai hospital: slipping out of her Beverly Hills home undetected despite the constant vigil of paparazzi and media outside. The pop star, accompanied by Finalpixx photographer Adnan Ghalib since a few hours after her release, popped into the Daily Grill in Palm Desert around 10 a.m. Sunday. "She seemed in a really good mood, laughing with the guy she was with," says the restaurant's manager. Spears shielded herself behind large, dark sunglasses and "had a champagne mimosa to drink," he said. She stayed at the restaurant about an hour, as Vegas Confidential's Norm Clarke first reported. Spears, 26, had been keeping company with Ghalib, 35, before her recent meltdown. The two checked into two hotels over the past couple of weeks, but he was not on hand Friday during her stay in Cedars-Sinai.

From perezhilton.com:

After a wild weekend, Brit Brit returned to Los Angeles on Monday.

In the evening she proceeded to….
- Go for a drive, as usual

- Drive at night without her lights on

- Pay a visit to a drug store

- Get a flat tire

- Get into a paparazzi car for a ride, not her rumored boyfriend's

- Have her car towed

- Check into a hotel, as usual

From usmagazine.com:

The latest in Britney Spears' troubles: She had her Mercedes towed and impounded by police Monday night after abandoning it on L.A.'s busy Sunset Boulevard after suffering a flat tire.
Usmagazine.com was there as an irritated and upset looking Spears, with a convoy of paparazzi following, suffered a flat right front tire while driving in Brentwood. After driving for over two miles on the flat, Spears pulled the car to a stop and abandoned the vehicle amid rush-hour traffic. LAPD spokesperson Mike Lopez says Britney’s car was impounded because it was “blocking the roadway.”
According to eyewitnesses at the scene, Spears and her assistant then hopped into a car driven by a trailing paparazzo, who drove Spears back to her Beverly Hills home. Within minutes, Spears left in another car and headed to the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills.
An employee at Quicksilver Towing confirmed to Us that they have impounded her vehicle and will bill Spears a $104 towing fee, plus $32 for every day it remains in their yard. Should Spears not pick up her vehicle within thirty days, it will be put up for public auction.

She needs some serious help!

Now, in other news,Nicole Kidman confirmed her pregnancy. That's good since those 2 little Scientologist freaks that she has with Tom Cruise hate her!

Speaking of pregnancies, Angelina is rumored to be pregnant...Hmmm.
In REAL news...Hillary is not doing well, Obama seems to be the front-runner...How bad is it that I don't really like any of the candidates? (Really hate Huckabee...sp?...FYI)
In my personal news, I am getting a new car on Friday. Hooray for me!
On Saturday, a group of us went out to dinner for one of our friend's birthday. More than half of the table kept getting up to go have a cigarette. It was so strange. Smoking is so 5 years ago, but the non-smokers were actually in the minority. Seriously, who smokes anymore? It's too difficult! Very random!
That's all for now...gotta go to work.
Later!
